mission
P3R Volleyball, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that serves athletes, members and their parents from the Pittsburgh area. The club will be looking to field teams in the 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 & under age groups. The schedules for these teams will be coordinated to maximize the player's chances of being seen by college coaches or to play quality competition.
In addition, all teams will play in regional tournaments and competitions in their age groups throughout the tri-state area to keep travel costs lower and increase the number of competitions.
It is the role of our club to put our athletes in the best situation to excel through high-quality training and competing in top-notch regional and national tournaments. Our teams train from December through as late as June with as many as 9 tournaments in between and are made up of girls from 4th through 12th grades. We also look to strike a balance between offering top training and competition while keeping costs affordable to family budgets. The following are a few of the results from our 2007-23 seasons:
History
P3R was formed in 2004 as Pittsburgh 3–Rivers Volleyball Club, Inc. by the late Ray Bobak as a new and independent volleyball club after several years as a branch known as Renaissance Central.
Since taking over the club in 2007, Neal Brown and P3R's directors have rebuilt the club with the mission of creating a premiere club from the Pittsburgh area to represent quality volleyball on the national level. Through this, the goal has been to train our athletes not only excel at the high school level, but to develop into collegiate volleyball players using some of the best coaches in the Pittsburgh area, all while creating a positive experience. Our coaches are hand-picked with many having championship experience as well as at the collegiate level.
